The French company Opinel is well-known for their distinctive pocket knives, but they also make great knives for in the kitchen. These kitchen knives from the Parallèle-series are equipped with a wooden handle which is protected by a clear coating. Because of the coating, and of course the stainless X50CrMoV15 steel, they can go into the dishwasher. However, we always prefer to wash them by hand.
